THE SOLUTION TO THE UNSOLVED RACE AND SOCIAL JUSTICE COLD CASE FILE THAT WAS ALMOST LOST FOREVER

It was one of our least shining moments in our “black and proud” history, to see the first black President subjected to that blatant in-your-face integrated mainstream a man being arrested 2news media  action supporting that racist police offense     on full display in the Professor Gates, Sgt Crowley affair.  Yet, it eluded the awareness of black and white activists, watchdog groups like the NAACP, BLM, and The Urban League, etc.

Even the major foundations committed to the unsolved race and social justice problem, all failed to see this news media racist travesty on center stage supporting this racist police misconduct and not one of these individuals or organizations came to the black President’s rescue leaving him defenseless, “twisting and dangling in the wind,” to borrow an appropriate expression.

“The Big Cover-Up” video shows this systemic racist news media editorial practice is so solidly ingrained that the entire integrated news media went along with the illegal arrest and police cover-up that had been initially exposed on Fox news and CNN by their respective host Greta Van Sustteren and Anderson Cooper. Nevertheless, it eluded the awareness of all of these non-profit groups , foundations civil rights leaders, activist, the whole home team that we listed.

The entire news media engaging in their editorial racist practice of supporting the police in race and police encounters was on full public display.  We appear to be the only source aware of this press and police complicity against the black President that went down in this race and police encounter, and clearly we are the only source that captured this breakthrough integrated mainstream news media editorial racist revelation in “The Big Cover-Up” video.

This racist injustice against the black President would have easily been averted if just one news organization had simply called out the racists travesty as it unfolded, or if CNN and FOX News had continued their initial straight forward coverage of the Professor Gates, Sgt Crowley incident that exposed the racist illegal arrest and cover-up, which included Sgt. Crowley lying and filing a false police report.

But instead these two news organizations, CNN and Fox News never followed up on their original new reports of Sgt. Crowley lying and filing his false police report. CNN went one better by in the very next news cycle immediately switched their story to the anger of Sgt Crowley and his fellow police officers at President Obama’s criticism.  All of this is revealed in “The Big Cover-Up” video.

Clearly, the news media cover-up involving the first black President was successful. It  shows the effectiveness of this integrated mainstream news media little known systemic pre-integration racist news media practice of supporting the police in race and police encounters. It shows this is the root of the unsolved race and social justice problem.

We here at usathisweek.comare looking at this little-known, ongoing, news media systemic racist practice, which explains the lack of the news media accountability, permissive environment, police have been operating under in race and police encounters during these years of integration.

We’re not talking about the headline grabbing incidents of excessive force and unjustified police killings of unarmed blacks, which the news media covers to some degree or another in most of those cases. Just as they covered those major civil rights protest demonstrations back in the day.

We’re talking about the day-to-day race and police encounters that occur where there is the lack of news media scrutiny and where the cops have been enjoying a free ride because of the  little known news media support of the police in race and police encounters as revealed in the video. It’s a carry-over from the traditional police and press relationship that exists, in the current day practice of the news media working with the police in solving crimes.

However, we know that integration did not end racist police practices. Contrary to some naive beliefs, black cops have fit in quite comfortably participating in the racist beat-downs and killings against blacks, which numerous camera phones and YouTube videos have revealed more than once. Conversely, the integrated news media’s support of police has remained practically unknown, to the extent that even a number of those in the integrated news media have failed to realize that this  editorial racist news media practice is even going on, or that they are unwitting or witting participants in these news media racists practices.

That’s what makes “The Big Cover-Up” video vital and uniquely  valuable, because it shows this little-known integrated news media systemic editorial racist practice of supporting the police in race and police encounters has not only been going on during these 50 years of integration, but as a little-known racist practice and systemic layer of lack of news media accountability in race and police encounters, which is at the root of the unsolved race and social justice problem.

WE CAN’T AFFORD TO FAIL TO INSTALL THE SOLUTION ONCE THE PROBLEM IS IDENTIFIED

Most importantly, the video shows we are the only source that has identified and uncovered this clear evidence of this unsolved race and social justice problem. It revealed both this long-term lack of news media accountability and the news media’s racist support of the police in this unique incident of the black President involved in  this race and police encounter case.

It would be racial malpractice to know the integrated mainstream news media is engaged in this racist practice that is on full display in “The Big Cover-Up” video being directed at President Obama and not put the obvious solution in place.

It’s remarkable how the countless authors, writers, spokes people, have written all these great books, articles and speeches over these many years on the subject of race and social justice from every angle. However, nothing of this news media racist editorial practice  shows up in their copious works.

That’s what makes  “The Big Cover-Up”  video so critical. It shows that our failure as a race to catch it when it went down so publicly in “The Big Cover-Up” video will go down in history as  the single most revealing evidence of the news media racist edditorial practice that otherwise would have been lost forever.

THERE IS A REAL SOLUTION TO THIS UNSOLVED RACE AND SOCIAL JUSTICE PROBLEM THAT WE CAN PUT IN PLACE

The establishment of a national news media operation that will both expose the news media engaging in their racist editorial practices like we exposed in “The Big Cover-Up” video  and provide the factual information as was revealed in the video. That’s a  level of empowerment that black and white Americans never knew we could achieve. Plus it’s an unprecedented level of equality that we can gain on our own that Americans of goodwill can support this achievement.

The best thing about supporting the establishment of this new independent integrated national news media operation that we are launching is that “The Big Cover-Up” video shows the kind of little-known news media racist editorial practice that will be exposed. It shows the big difference it will make to have in place a news media operation that will expose the kind of systemic racist news media practice to which President Obama was subjected and that the integrated newsmedia has been engaged in unknown and undetected that we are finally exposing. It shows the kind of news media racist practices the integrated news media has been subjecting black people to that we can’t afford to let continue unchecked.

IDENTIFYING THE KEY TO THE UNSOLVED RACE SOCIAL JUSTICE PROBLEM THAT THE WHOLE RACE HAS MISSED SINCE INTEGRATION

It was like a cold case file being solved. When the Gates Crowley affair occurred and Professor  Gates and President Obama didn’t detect the racist news media supporting the police illegal arrest and cover-up. That took us to an even greater level of awareness on our failure as a race to see even when this integrated news media directed this racist editorial practice at the black President. Far too many of us seem to be conditioned to thinking the news media is incapable of committing these racist offenses that we show is their systemic racist practices.

THIS CALLS FOR A MORE IN DEPTH LOOK AT THE HOME TEAM

When we reflect on the articles and analysis in the volumes of best sellers. From James Balwin, Richard Wright, Ralph Ellison, Maya Anggelou to the more recent, like  Alice Walker, Tanahesi Coates present day about changing peoples core like Obama talks about the “deepest undercurrents of our nation’s psyche” We must add, what’s missing is the accountability imposing factor that changes not hearts but minds.

What they all showed is that they are among so many successful black Americans that have adjusted to rolling with a level of acceptance to a less than full first class existence and totally oblivious to this basic racist problem and solution that’s within our power to move us to first class participation complete with news media accountability where it’s never been.

“SKILLED TO SUPPRESSING OUR REACTIONS TO MINOR SLIGHTS”

Our lesson is showing that we don’t have to adjust to the slights and affronts, when it comes to the news media racist practice of supporting the police in race and police encounters as revealed in “The Big Cover-Up” video. We have to put the missing news media accountability imposing vehicle in place that will also  keep people informed as to what’s goin on. It’s so simple, if the American people had been informed of what actually happened in the Gates Crowley affair, President Obama‘s polls would not have suffered.

There is a level of our progress that remains to be achieved and its based on us establishing a national news media operation that includes introducing news media accountability where it has never been. But more importantly, it means making sure it’s not limiting and marginalizing itself as a black thing but as an integrated all inclusive transcending news media operation unlimited in its coverage of all news worthy subjects particularly on the subject of injustice. As Martin Luther King said “injustice anywhere is a threat to injustice every where.”

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR UNPRECEDENTED EMPOWERMENT FOUND HERE

This is an unsolved racist problem with the solution being an independent national news media operation. The racist systemic news media practice supporting the police is too deep seated to be fixed from within. As the only national news media entity that caught and exposed this systemic racist news media problem, this independent news media operation  needs to be put in place permanently.

Establishing this new integrated all-inclusive 24/7 national cable news media television operation and 24/7 on-line news magazine will put in place the news media accountability in race and police encounters that has been missing. This is the logical solution to this lack of news media accountability in race and police encounters that’s at the root of the unsolved race and social justice problem.

It starts with producing a video pilot showing a sample of the national news media operation. The name itself, U.S.A.ThisWeek makes it clear this is all about an all inclusive news media operation. We are not limiting ourselves to being a black thing and marginalizing ourselves all over again. We’re putting in place exactly what we have shown has been missing. That is an all American integrated all-inclusive national news media operation. It must include accountability on police in race and police encounters that has been omitted up until now. This is a concept whose time has come.

USING THE LESSON OF THE GEORGE FLOYD AWAKENING TO ADVANCE TO UNPRECEDENTED EMPOWERMENT

Nevertheless, if there was any lesson that the George Floyd awakening made abundantly clear amid all of this lack of awareness, it’s that truth and facts in race and police encounters matter. The George Floyd awakening shows if people are made aware of racist police injustice there is no “polarizing’ factor that negates the objections of the American people to the racist police injustice.

That takes us back to the Gates Crowley affair, which we show is all about the integrated mainstream news media racist editorial practice that we exposed in “The Big Cover-Up” video, We now have these two historic eye-opening race and police events on video showing the facts that make the solution to the race and social justice problem are as obvious as common sense.

EASY LESSON ONCE YOU KNOW THE FACTS

First, in the Gates Crowley President Obama affair we see the integrated news media’s little-known systemic racist practice of supporting the police in in this race and police encounter exposed. That shows there’s this systemic lack of news media accountability in race and police encounters. Secondly, the George Floyd awakening shows if people are made aware of racist police injustice they will support  the punishment of the perpetrator. That means they will support the solution if made aware of its availability.

 OPPORTUNITY REVISITED

LACK OF MONEY IS NOT THE PROBLEM THE LACK OF AWARENESS IS

That brings us tothe George Floyd awakening,” It showed that there’s no lack of support for the right thing. Nor is there a lack of money.  There was the 100k Pledge group with Andrew Yang raising $47 billions,  in commitments. Plus 22 major companies including Bill Gates publicizing their support for Black Lives Matter.

High profile professional black ball players stepped up, and did more than wearing tee-shirts and face mask, and making powerful symbolic statements. Michael Jordan  reportedly committed to donating $100 million over the next 10 years to organizations that are dedicated to fighting for racial equality. Jrue Holliday and his wife reportedly donated the rest of his salary that year to a social justice fund they founded.

MACHINE.” It will always be there as a reference point. One can always go back and see how  all of these high-profile news people, individuals, groups and institutions (black and white) dealt with this historic racist incident involving the first black President. It will show if they, excused, overlooked or failed to cover the most blatant public display of this   news media  systemic racist editorial action that occurred.

Of particular note, the Crowley-Gates-Obama affair should have been covered by  President historians,  who specialize in American President’s history.  It’s interesting to see how these historians covered this historic race and police incident involving the first black President and  how it lines up with our video record.

The roll call should include the following, Jon Meacham, former managing editor of Newsweek for eight years. historian and U.S. President biographer, Pulitzer prize winner, even wrote a book on a portrait of John Lewis. Robert Woodward is an American investigative journalist and a President historian of the most intimate level. He is  an associate editor of the Washington Post.  Michael Richard Beschloss is an American historian specializing in the United States presidency.  Doris Kearns Goodwin, world-renowned president historian, public speaker and Pulitzer Prize-winner, New York Times.

These people are all great subjects to be interviewed to get their take on the racist police illegal arrest and press support of the police and news media cover-up. But most importantly to learn from them the perspective that determined how they treated the Gates, Crowley, President Obama affair.

The initial racist arrest and false police report  was aired nationally. But then it was redirected by news organizations focussing on  the narrative of the police being angry with the black President for him criticizing them. This is the kind of systemic racist news media racist practice that shows the justification for the solution of an independent national news media operation to bring to the forefront what is being systemically overlooked.

THIS IS AS SYSTEMIC AS IT GETS

One more individual to interview regarding his coverage of the Gates, Crowley, President Obama affair is Richard Stengel. He is a former Editor of TIME, White house assistant under President Obama. He is currently an MSNBC analyst and the author of Mandela’s Way, a book about his work with the South African president Nelson Mandela.  He collaborated with Nelson Mandela on his bestselling 1993 autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom and later served as co-producer of the 1996 Oscar-nominated documentary Mandela.

Even Wikipedia has nothing about the news media’s role in the cover-up in their coverage of the Gates Crowley-President Obama affair.  For these historians, to not report these key facts pertaining to this incident appears to be a conscious decision or a deep-seated racist editorial practice to which they all adhered wittingly or unwittingly. Nevertheless, that’s what we intend to explore. But in the meantime we must implement the solution.

THIS IS NOT A WHITE THING:  BLACK HISTORIANS SLEPT IT TOO

As for our esteemed  black historians, they are shown to be equally accommodating to the news media’s cover-up exposed in the “The Big Cover-Up” video. That includes these notable black history professors at these prestigious Ivy league Universities, like Dr. Cornel West, formerly of Harvard, Dr. Eddie Glaude Princeton, and Michael Eric Dyson at Vanderbilt. Glaude is a regular on MSNBC as is Al Sharpton, particularly, after the headline grabbing police killings of George Floyd and more recently Tyre Nichols, not one of them have shown any awareness of this fundamental racist news media problem. That apparently puts us on an island in awareness of this race and news media subject.

This news media’s cover-up of the illegal police arrest of Prof. Gates by Sgt. Crowley and more importantly the news media’s support of the police cover-up so clearly revealed in “The Big Cover-Up” video,  is no where in any of these noted historians, writings, public speeches, or interviews.
